Developed from the new Super Record 13, this clutch-equipped rear derailleur has inherited all the qualities that made the traditional model unique: smooth, rapid, and instantaneous shifting, even under stress, thanks to the optimized path along the entire sprocket range. The new architecture, which sees the rear derailleur being positioned under the sprocket set, provides minimal aesthetics, improves aerodynamics and ensures impeccable alignment between pulleys and gears. The result is even quieter, more precise, and more reliable shifting. The Nano Clutch technology should be added to this. It has kept the current cage, which is capable of handling cassettes up to 36 teeth, but introduces higher chain tension to ensure impeccable stability and functionality even on the most demanding routes, on the road (1x) and on fast gravel (2x all-road configuration). The two 14-tooth pulleys are designed with a differentiated profile to better guide the chain: the upper one includes ceramic bearings for maximum smoothness and zero friction, while the lower one, with traditional bearings, provides robustness and durability over time. The housing is compatible with sprocket sets starting from 10 or 11 teeth up to a maximum of 36 teeth, thus ensuring a wide range of gear ratios suitable for every pedaling style. Maximum versatility also in the assembly solutions: direct assembly with Campagnolo UDH dropout, classic link for traditional frames, and compatibility with direct dropouts. The system is powered by a removable battery with an average range of 750 km and ultra-fast charging: it takes just 60 minutes for a full recharge. The charge status is always under control thanks to the integrated LED, the MyCampy app, or directly from the bike computer. The USB-C connector ensures full compatibility with modern devices, including power banks in case of an emergency. Campagnolo’s excellence is embodied in the design: carbon fiber inner cage and front end with a direct mold finish, laser-engraved anodized aluminum components, and carbon fiber-reinforced technopolymer clutch body to ensure durability and stability even on the roughest terrain.
