This inexpensive toggle switch is useful for converting earlier motorcycles without turn signals to the later condition, where directionals are desired. The clamping system is designed for fitment to 7/8″ handlebars. Can also be used as an on/off switch for accessories or lighting. The switch is mounted in a convenient location on the handlebar, generally in a location where it can be thumb-operated. Great option for custom applications on vintage British and Japanese motorcycles. The three wires are simply wired for (1) “power in” wire and a single wire to each turn signal indicator circuit. A flasher will be required to complete the system by supplying power to the switch. It is recommended to adequately ground each turn signal for optimal operation.
