The chrome forward front fender stay was specified for the 1969-1974 Triumph 500 and 1969-1970 650 models with painted mudguards. This fender stay was also specified for the 1970 750 Trident model as well. Can also be fit to other models within the range when a chrome finish is desired. Made in the UK, the stay measures 8-3/4″ long, and is 4-3/4″ wide, with the tabs 3.5″ apart on centers. Quality chrome-plated finish for long durability. The fender stay is located in the forward position on the front mudguard and is attached to mounting brackets on the fork lower members. The stay loops over the front mudguard and is retained with bolts and nuts through the mounting tabs through the drillings on the mudguard. It is recommended that the fasteners be fitted loosely to allow alignment prior to fully tightening in place.
